About the role
HSE Engineer (Contract, Outside IR35) for the Liverpool Bay Project in Talacre, UK. Site-based role with approximately 5% travel to London. The contract is for 12 months, with a rate of £550/day (GBP) and half-day rate on Saturdays. Responsibilities include developing and supervising HSE procedures, leading risk management activities, supporting compliance, conducting audits, preparing HSE deliverables, leading incident investigations, reviewing supplier HSE documentation, supporting HSE training/PTW/HSE officer activities, and monitoring HSE performance and KPIs. Requirements include an HSE or engineering-related qualification, NEBOSH Diploma, 3–7 years’ experience in Oil & Gas/energy on onshore projects, and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor preferred or required as per project needs. The project start date is 18 October 2026 and duration is approximately 48 weeks.
