About the role
Team Leader (2nd Officer / 3rd Officer) for a permanently stationed non-trading storage vessel in Norway. The vessel is a former chemical tanker operated alongside the quay. Responsibilities include overall cargo handling and cargo operations, tank cleaning, monitoring cargo onboard, ballast and de-ballast operations, safety and anti-pollution drills, coordination with arriving vessels, the shipowner and factory, and supervision of a 4-person crew per shift. The role requires previous tanker experience, preferably on chemical tankers, knowledge of cargo systems, vessel stability calculations, supervisory experience, strong leadership and organisational skills, good English, and computer literacy. Rotation is 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off. Salary is 50,000 NOK per month, negotiable.
