Meter B position in Adams, MA. Under supervision, perform or assist with testing, refurbishing, and certification of gas meters and regulators used for natural gas distribution. Support meter shop duties and meter reading as assigned. Responsibilities include in-test and out-test of gas meters for residential, commercial, and industrial applications, use of shop equipment such as pallet trucks, forklifts, paint spray booth, industrial washing machine, and meter proving apparatuses, meter deliveries to outlying operation centers using a rack body truck over 10,000 pounds, and data entry in SAP. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, clean driving record, and the ability to secure DOT and forklift operation certifications and maintain OQ requirements.
