About the role
UTM Consultants are seeking Authorised Technicians for projects in Germany on Siemens 3.6MW and 4MW offshore wind turbines. The role involves leading mechanical or electrical inspection and maintenance work within site appointment limits and applicable WTSR procedures, including isolation, permits, hazardous energy control, coordination with operations and contractors, oversight of crane and turbine service lift checks where qualified, and completion of work records, inspection reports, and handovers. Required qualifications include a mechanical or electrical trade certificate or equivalent vocational qualification, current WTSR Core training and formal appointment as an Authorised Technician, GWO offshore training with Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling and Sea Survival, plus Advanced Rescue, Enhanced First Aid, HUET and confined-space qualifications, relevant experience with small offshore cranes and/or service lifts, and a current offshore medical and required travel or access documents. The project is due to start on 1 March 2027 and last approximately 24 weeks.
