Wind Turbine Engineer - Mechanical Systems. In-office role in Portland, Oregon. Responsibilities include supporting a wind turbine and solar PV fleet, resolving mechanical systems issues, leading technical investigations into equipment anomalies and failures, coordinating with external consultants, maintaining technical summaries, organizing meetings with OEMs and service providers, and supporting engineering studies and design modifications to improve reliability and performance. Requirements include a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, at least 3 years of renewable energy experience, strong writing and analytical skills, familiarity with FEA and CAD modeling tools, testing and measurement equipment, the ability to work under pressure, climb tall steel towers, lift up to 50 lbs, and travel up to 20% of the time.
