About the role
Faststream is exclusively partnering with James Fisher and Sons to recruit a Head of HSSEQ, Maritime Transport. Preferred location is London, though other locations may be considered. The role involves regular travel to Barrow-in-Furness and other operational locations across the UK and internationally. This senior leadership position is responsible for shaping and delivering HSSEQ and Assurance strategy across maritime operations, ensuring compliance, leading teams, managing risk, audits, incident investigations, and supporting business continuity and crisis response. The ideal candidate has significant leadership experience in maritime, shipping, offshore, energy or related sectors, with strong knowledge of maritime legislation and standards including ISM, ISPS, SOLAS, MARPOL and ISO management systems.
