About the role
The DJ – Entertainment Technician is responsible for delivering engaging and technically excellent entertainment services for guests while following company policies and maintaining high guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include creating a lively atmosphere for scheduled events and parties, selecting suitable music and volume levels, maintaining equipment, organizing the onboard music library, supporting set-ups and clean-ups for public events, assisting with sound and spotlight checks, participating in rehearsals, helping with band equipment and karaoke nights, leading special DJ events and training sessions on longer voyages, socializing with guests, assisting with crew training and orientation, and performing other duties as assigned. Requirements include 2+ years of professional DJ background with technical support experience, strong audience-reading ability, confident microphone and hosting skills, solid knowledge of sound and lighting equipment, basic familiarity with entertainment show formats, physical and medical fitness, excellent English, and basic knowledge of Windows and Mac applications.
