Requirements include valid STCW Basic Safety Training (VI/1), Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (VI/2), Designated Security Duties (VI/6-2), and Medical Fitness Certificate (I/9), along with previous experience as a Bosun or senior deck rating and good English communication skills. Additional offshore experience and specialized vessel backgrounds are an advantage.
