About the role
HV Cables Civil Specialist for a major offshore wind project in Ireland. Lead civil engineering design solutions for HV underground cable projects across all stages, from feasibility and optioneering through detailed design and construction support. Verify and approve civil engineering deliverables, act as technical authority for HV cable civil works, and provide technical leadership to project teams. Manage technical risk, interfaces and design assurance for cable civil works, and complete design reviews for FIDIC Yellow Book (Design & Build) HV cable projects. Minimum 10 years relevant post-qualification experience in civil cable design is required, with knowledge of the Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) and construction. Full driving licence and access to a car.
