About the role

Northern Marine Manning group is seeking a Marine Personnel Officer to support crewing operations across vessels under management. The role involves acting as a key point of contact for seafarers, coordinating crew changes, managing personnel administration, and supporting crew planning with internal teams and external stakeholders. Required experience includes a relevant degree or equivalent experience, previous marine sector experience, management of personnel KPIs, work in an international organisation, knowledge of crew management systems such as COMPAS, and understanding of maritime regulations including STCW, MLC, and ISM. The position also requires knowledge of flag state and statutory requirements for seafarers, strong organisational and communication skills, and experience liaising with port agents, manning agents, and other stakeholders. The role is office-based with hybrid working considered depending on business requirements, and standard working hours align with UK working times.
