About the role
UTM Consultants are seeking a Senior Data Processor for a contract geophysical mapping project offshore Barbados. The role requires at least 10 years of offshore hydrographic survey experience, with strong hands-on experience in MBES data processing, cleaning, QC, validation, and resolution of data-quality issues related to sound velocity, refraction, vessel motion, positioning, and system calibration. Experience with CARIS HIPS/SIPS, QPS Qimera, QPS FM Geocoder, QPS QINSy, and Kongsberg EM 302 and EM 2040 MBES systems is required, along with experience in planning, executing, processing, and interpreting MBES patch tests and system verification tests. Valid ENG-1 Medical and STCW training are required. Start date: 2 December 2026. Duration: approximately 6 weeks.
