About the role
RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd is offering a full-time, fixed-term 12-month Year in Industry placement in Operations Engineering at Rampion Offshore Windfarm. The role is a hybrid arrangement with three days per week onsite in Newhaven and the rest based from home. The placement offers experience across offshore wind farm operations, including safety management and reporting, stakeholder engagement, turbine fault analysis, operational risk documentation, daily fault reporting, work planning, technical decision-making, and a continuous improvement project involving budget, contract, and contractor management. Applicants should be studying Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline and be eligible for a year-in-industry placement. Strong communication, organisation, teamwork, and stakeholder engagement skills are required. The role requires at least five years of UK residence for potential National Security Vetting to SC level.
