About the role

A leading international maritime organisation is seeking an LNG Infrastructure Technical Superintendent to support the technical management and project delivery of LNG infrastructure assets from its Antwerp headquarters. The role combines technical superintendency with project management, drydock coordination, vessel conversions and technical support for LNG infrastructure operations. Responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day technical management of assigned LNG assets, coordinating drydocks, repairs, conversions and retrofit projects, preparing technical specifications and documentation, monitoring technical performance and maintenance, liaising with shipyards and technical stakeholders, supporting commissioning and takeovers, providing guidance to onboard engineering teams, participating in emergency response and troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with company, class and statutory requirements, and supporting ongoing LNG development projects. Requirements include previous experience as a Chief Engineer or Technical Superintendent within LNG, strong LNG operational knowledge, experience with LNG steam vessels or LNG dual fuel vessels, drydock or major project experience, understanding of marine engineering systems, experience coordinating with shipyards and technical stakeholders, multidisciplinary project experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, fluent English, and EU working rights or Belgium/EU-based status.
