Advanced Electrical Tradesperson required for a crane electrical team in Middlesbrough. The role involves preventative and reactive maintenance, inspection, fault-finding, and repair of port crane assets, including Mobile Harbour Cranes, RTG Cranes, and Ship-to-Shore Container Cranes. Responsibilities include electrical diagnosis and repair, working with AC/DC motors, drives, inverters, rectifiers, control systems, industrial communication networks, PLC systems, reading electrical drawings, responding to breakdowns, and working safely outdoors and at height. Essential requirements include 2+ years’ heavy industry experience following a relevant engineering apprenticeship, an ONC / Level 3 Engineering qualification or equivalent, strong electrical maintenance experience, a full UK Driving Licence, and good problem-solving and communication skills.
