About the role
Faststream is partnering with an established and growing maritime organisation seeking to appoint a Crewing Officer to support fleet expansion. This role is suited to a junior crewing professional with around 1–2 years of experience in a fast-paced international shipping environment. The successful candidate will coordinate crew changes, travel arrangements, rotations, logistics, and documentation across the global fleet, support the recruitment and selection of seafarers, and liaise with crew, vessels, colleagues, and external stakeholders. The role requires strong communication and organisational skills, excellent spoken and written English, and the ability to handle urgent situations calmly and effectively. The position is based in Hamburg with a hybrid working arrangement offering 2–3 days of home working per week.
