Faststream Recruitment is recruiting a Technical Sales Engineer for an established international marine engineering business in the United Kingdom. The role involves developing technical solutions and proposals in response to customer requirements, working with engineering, sales, and project teams. Responsibilities include reviewing customer specifications and technical documentation, selecting suitable equipment, carrying out calculations and system design, producing technical documentation, specifications and P&IDs, preparing costings and commercial proposal information, using CAD for equipment and system layouts, and supporting newbuild and retrofit projects. Candidates with backgrounds in technical sales, marine engineering, applications, proposals, project/design engineering, or marine superintendent roles are of interest. Experience in cruise, shipbuilding, or commercial shipping would be beneficial, along with strong knowledge of marine equipment and ship systems.
