About the role
Derrickman for a semisubmersible drilling rig. Relevant experience required. Platform location: Egypt. Trading area: Egypt / WW. Wage: 200 GBP per working day, all taxes paid locally by ship owners. Rotation: 4 weeks on/off. Documents required include STCW 2010 package. Certificate of competency: Able Bodied Seaman II/5 or higher. Additional documents include BOSIET/HUET, AC-EBS, UKOAA, boat landing or boat transfer, Working at Heights, Designated Security duties, shoulder measurement, and vaccination certificate. Duties include following the Driller/Assistant Driller, racking tubular equipment in the mast, assisting with running the string in the hole, operating drilling fluid systems and pumps during drilling, mixing chemicals and additives, and monitoring and recording drilling fluid volume and properties. English Marlins Test 85% or higher required. European candidates preferred.
