Faststream Recruitment is hiring a Marine Project Engineer for a leading international energy company to support its global fleet and LNG projects. The role involves engineering support across marine systems, including propulsion, power generation, auxiliary machinery, mechanical and piping systems, and control systems. Responsibilities include supporting newbuild, conversion, drydock, upgrade and vessel redeployment projects; developing and reviewing technical documentation; reviewing shipyard and vendor drawings; preparing scopes of work and equipment specifications; supporting equipment sizing and technical evaluation; working with Classification Societies; contributing to HAZID, HAZOP, FMECA, risk and operability reviews; supporting commissioning, start-up, troubleshooting and vessel operations; managing contractors and vendors; and supporting project schedules and budgets. The position requires strong vessel systems knowledge and shore-based engineering or project experience, with a degree in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture preferred. Experience in LNG or LPG, AutoCAD proficiency, and knowledge of classification and flag state requirements are advantageous.
