About the role
Senior Works Manager needed to lead a project team and provide technical, operational, and administrative leadership across all project phases, with a strong focus on site safety, planning, and day-to-day execution. The role includes responsibility for implementing health and safety on site with the SHEQ engineer, reviewing and approving risk assessments, method statements, and programmes, carrying out inspections, following up non-conformances, and investigating incidents, accidents, and near misses. The manager will ensure personnel and contractors are trained and qualified, control toolbox talks, PPE, housekeeping, safe use of equipment, and brief new personnel and subcontractors. Weekly and monthly follow-up of safety-critical checks, inspections, SHEQ reports, and action close-out is also required. The position requires strong leadership, project management, and commercial awareness, with excellent communication skills. Minimum requirements include a master’s degree or equivalent, at least 15 years of general offshore/marine experience, and at least 10 years in a management position within the offshore/marine industry.
