About the role
A leading cruise line is seeking an Entertainment Media Specialist responsible for the operation, content production, and technical maintenance of shipboard video media systems, including broadcast television, ship-wide video distribution, video projection, LED walls, Coolux systems, and live and recorded video production. Duties include operating broadcast and video playback systems, preparing equipment for daily events, monitoring signal quality, supporting onboard production filming and editing, maintaining and troubleshooting broadcast and video systems, managing media equipment, performing preventive maintenance, assisting venue teams with public space TV systems, creating promotional and internal media content, mentoring new staff, and collaborating with technical teams to resolve issues. Requirements include 2–3 years of experience in television broadcast or video production, a high school diploma or equivalent, proficiency in Avid editing, live TV production, camera operations, Coolux and LED videowall control, Adobe Suite, and Mac/Windows systems, plus knowledge of SDI, video switching and routing, projection technology, audio/video cabling, and basic networking. The role also requires completion of two contracts in the current position, leadership capability, medical fitness, and strong English communication skills.
