Operator Bulk for a large bulk terminal at Maasvlakte in Rotterdam, working in a five-shift rotation in a port and logistics environment. The role involves helping unload iron ore and coal from large sea vessels, collecting remaining bulk goods in ship holds, moving bulk goods onboard with smaller shovels, and supporting a safe and efficient unloading process. The position starts with operator and shovel work and offers internal training and opportunities to progress to larger machines and other dockside functions. Candidates should have MBO-level working and thinking ability, experience with machines such as shovels or earthmoving equipment, physical fitness, a willingness to work in a continuous five-shift roster, good Dutch, and the ability to obtain a VCH certificate within one month after probation and provide a VOG before starting. A collective transport arrangement is provided.
