About the role
Electrician for a dredging vessel in Southeast Asia. Rotation is 6 weeks on and 6 weeks off. Requirements include valid STCW certificates, up-to-date travel documents, experience or strong interest in dredging vessels, ability to work under pressure in a European crew environment, familiarity with PLC systems, strong commitment, motivation, and good English communication skills. Candidates with experience on Cutter Suction Dredgers, Hopper Dredgers, Tankers, Bulk Carriers, VLGC, LPG carriers, Heavy Lift vessels, Multi-Purpose Offshore Vessels, Cable Laying Vessels, or Self-Propelled Jack-Up Barge Vessels are welcome. Permanent contract possible, with fixed rotation and potential ad hoc work. Work close to home may include Rotterdam, IJmuiden, or the port of Antwerp.
