About the role
Technical Superintendent (Offshore Vessels) for a global shipping company based in Aberdeen. The role is responsible for the efficient operation of assigned vessels and working as part of the ship management team. Key duties include planning and controlling maintenance, repairs, dry-docking, conversions or modifications; managing class and flag state surveys and certificate requirements; coordinating work plans with ship’s command; monitoring vessel performance; liaising with clients; supporting inspections and audits; and planning dry dock and vessel inspections with the fleet manager. Requirements include a Chief Engineer Unlimited license preferred, 2 years’ experience in a senior engineering rank on offshore vessels such as ERRV, OSV, or PSV, previous technical superintendent or senior engineering/naval architecture experience, budget administration experience, and strong communication and English skills. The position is permanent and offers competitive salary, hybrid working, pension, and private medical.
