RWE Supply & Trading Americas, LLC is seeking a technically strong Grid Modeling Manager to support development, validation, and maintenance of electrical models across a multi-GW renewable energy portfolio. The role focuses on application-stage model development, validation, documentation, and technical inputs for utility-scale wind, solar, BESS, and gas projects, with coordination of consultant-led PSCAD, TSAT, EMT, benchmarking, and model-tuning work. Responsibilities include preparing ISO/RTO interconnection modeling packages, supporting project design and compliance, developing and documenting PSS®E-based electrical models, reviewing consultant outputs, resolving modeling deficiencies, tracking evolving grid code requirements, improving internal modeling standards, and mentoring junior team members. The position requires an Electrical Engineering or related degree, relevant power systems modeling experience, proficiency with PSS®E and ASPEN One-liner, and experience with ISO/RTO interconnection modeling and utility-scale generation projects.
