About the role
RWE Renewables Poland Sp. z o.o is seeking a full-time, permanent Head of Development Poland for its Onshore Wind, PV and BESS activities. The role leads and shapes the Polish development pipeline from origination through FID or value-accretive divestment, with accountability for performance, quality, strategic direction, portfolio management, risk mitigation and LCOE optimisation. It is a senior regional leadership position within OPEA Development Europe, responsible for fostering a high-performance culture, building organisational capability and coordinating with internal stakeholders across engineering, construction, procurement, investments and transactions. The role also represents Project Development within the Polish Board structure, ensures effective governance and HSE standards, and maintains strong external relationships across the Polish renewables market. Requirements include extensive renewable energy experience, strong exposure to Onshore Wind, PV and ideally BESS, leadership of large multidisciplinary teams, and fluency in Polish and English.
