About the role

Senior HSE Advisor required for a major offshore wind farm developer based in the United Kingdom. Responsibilities include planning and mobilizing projects and suppliers for safe execution, developing and reviewing risk assessments and method statements, supporting the client safety culture through offshore presence, inspections, emergency drills and exercises from vessels and turbines, investigating incidents, maintaining incident management system records, identifying opportunities for standardisation and procedural or design improvements, and supporting the development and implementation of UK emergency response performance standards and assurance activities, including facilitation of HAZID sessions. Requirements include experience running small projects, working in a complex corporate environment, offshore experience in both oil and gas and wind, willingness to travel to operational offshore sites in the UK, a full GWO including Enhanced First Aid, an OGUK medical certificate including chester step, a technical background, preferably a NEBOSH general certificate, strong HSE risk management competencies, experience with bowties, barrier management, performance standards and assurance activities, experience facilitating HAZIDs, a proactive approach to risk management, and effective collaboration with HSE stakeholders.
