About the role

RWE Renewables Japan G.K. is seeking a full-time, permanent Transport & Installation Manager/Engineer for Foundations. The role supports offshore wind projects across all lifecycle stages within the Installation Logistics team and wider Engineering Department. Responsibilities include preparing foundation installation contracts and technical specifications, evaluating transport and installation technologies and commercial solutions, developing optimized transport and installation concepts with project teams, managing implementation after contract award, and overseeing Transport & Installation contracts after FID. The position also leads planning and execution of foundation transport and installation activities, including marshalling port operations, offshore installation, handovers, documentation review, and coordination with authorities and internal stakeholders. Candidates should have a degree in a relevant engineering or logistics discipline and significant experience in offshore wind project development or construction, especially foundation installation, transport of large structures, offshore construction contracts, and vessel chartering. English fluency is required; Japanese language skills are highly desirable.
