About the role

RWE Offshore Wind GmbH is hiring an Innovation & Industrialisation Partner focused on sustainability and biodiversity. The role covers a portfolio of technical innovation projects related to offshore wind, with emphasis on understanding and improving impacts on sensitive marine and coastal species and habitats. Responsibilities include shaping and steering the sustainability and biodiversity innovation area, acting as a key interface with the offshore sustainability team, identifying and implementing innovation and pilot projects, developing technology roadmaps, supporting research and innovation programs, and managing portfolios, budgets, timelines, quality, HSE, contracts, knowledge transfer, and intellectual property through to operational transfer. Requirements include a university degree in a relevant field, at least five years of experience, strong knowledge of sustainability trends relevant to offshore wind, experience with marine monitoring technologies or concepts such as Nature Positive and Marine Net Gain, solid project management knowledge, network or team coordination experience, strong analytical and stakeholder management skills, and fluent English.
