About the role

RWE Offshore Wind GmbH is seeking an Innovation & Industrialisation Partner Sustainability & Biodiversity for its Innovation & Industrialisation Projects Team in a full-time, permanent role. The position focuses on managing technical innovation projects related to sustainability and biodiversity, particularly research and innovation to assess and improve the effects of offshore wind farms on marine and coastal species and habitats. Key responsibilities include supporting the team lead and sustainability programme manager, serving as the main innovation interface for biodiversity topics, identifying and delivering innovation projects and pilots, developing technology maturation plans, representing RWE in collaborative research programmes, coordinating with internal experts, advising senior stakeholders, and managing portfolios, budgets, schedules, quality, HSE, suppliers, contracts, knowledge transfer and intellectual property through to implementation. Requirements include a relevant university degree, at least five years of experience, strong knowledge of sustainability trends relevant to offshore wind, familiarity with marine monitoring technologies or concepts such as Nature Positive and Marine Net Gain, project management experience, strong communication and stakeholder management skills, and business-fluent English. Additional experience in energy technology, offshore sustainability, marine biology or ornithology, and German or other languages is advantageous.
