About the role
Engineering Manager for Rhyl Flats and North Hoyle offshore wind farms. Lead engineering activities to keep the assets safe, reliable and efficient while ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and company requirements. Responsibilities include developing O&M strategies, providing technical leadership across turbines, HV systems and electrical infrastructure, leading condition monitoring and asset health management, managing technical risk and mitigation plans, coordinating modifications and major maintenance campaigns, supporting procurement and contractor delivery, and developing engineering personnel. The role also involves technical reporting, root cause analysis, business cases, engineering recommendations and continuous improvement. Requirements include a degree in engineering or equivalent experience, experience in wind farm operations or asset management, strong knowledge of asset integrity and maintenance strategy, experience managing contracts, projects and multidisciplinary teams, knowledge of HSSE legislation and standards, and experience with HV systems and WTSR authorisations.
