About the role
Senior Project Manager for Avangrid Power. Remote role based in OR, WA, or TX. Responsible for managing engineering and construction activities during pre-construction and construction phases of new projects and modifications to existing projects. Oversees project costs, schedules, scope, risk, resources, and quality during engineering, procurement, and construction phases. Leads project engineers and construction site managers to ensure safe delivery of milestones within budget and on schedule. Manages EPC activities and owner’s project management for multiple wind, solar, and BESS energy projects. Supports design, commissioning, operations handover, technical due diligence, capital budget forecasting, plant improvements, equipment acquisition, and process efficiency initiatives. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field; 10 years of experience in project engineering and construction of electric generation projects; 5 years in project development or management; strong communication, negotiation, and dispute resolution skills; and travel up to 50%. PMP certification required. OSHA and risk management certifications preferred.
