About the role
HV Authorised Person role on a long-term contract supporting the operation and maintenance of onshore and offshore electrical infrastructure in East Anglia. Responsibilities include mobilisation support, commissioning and warranty activities, operational documentation, RAMS and maintenance planning, maintenance scheduling, HV switching and isolations, safety documentation, safe systems of work, and participation in a 24/7 on-call rota. The role covers onshore and offshore assets and may support other projects in the wider portfolio. Requirements include current or previous HV Authorised Person or Senior Authorised Person experience, practical experience in substations or other high voltage environments, beneficial exposure to HVDC systems, converter stations, offshore substations, commissioning or operational handover, and GWO certification or the ability to obtain offshore qualifications. Contract is 18 months, Monday to Friday, with an October start and an additional on-call rate.
