A leading European real assets investment manager is seeking an Investment Director to join its team in Rome. The role covers origination, evaluation and execution of investments in the Italian market, with a focus on energy transition, renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure. Responsibilities include sourcing and developing investment opportunities, leading transactions through due diligence, approval, negotiation and completion, financial analysis and valuation, coordinating cross-functional due diligence, presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders, supporting portfolio strategy and mentoring junior team members. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in infrastructure, real assets, renewable energy investment, private equity, M&A or investment banking, with a strong record in infrastructure or energy-related transactions, experience in the Italian market, strong financial modelling and negotiation skills, and fluency in Italian and English.
