Risk Manager for a major offshore wind project based in Ireland. Responsibilities include owning, maintaining, and updating project and programme risk registers using PMO-approved tools; ensuring risks are clearly described, consistently scored, mitigated, and assigned to owners; monitoring overdue actions; maintaining audit trails and version control; facilitating risk workshops with offshore project managers, engineering, HSE, procurement, and others; capturing risks, issues, and opportunities in line with PMO standards; supporting qualitative assessments and basic quantitative reviews; working with planning and cost teams to reflect schedule and cost impacts; producing weekly and monthly risk reports and dashboards; and ensuring risk management processes follow PMO standards and offshore programme requirements. Requirements include a degree in Engineering, Offshore Renewables, Project Management or similar; chartership or professional body membership; several years of relevant experience; NFQ 8 and relevant leadership and management training; 10 years of demonstrated relevant work experience; professional qualification in risk, project controls, or project management desirable; experience maintaining risk registers within a PMO or project controls environment; understanding of offshore project delivery and offshore construction risks; strong proficiency in risk tools; good stakeholder management skills; competence in MS Excel, Power BI, and project reporting tools; and strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
