About the role
HSE Lead required for a major offshore wind developer based in the United Kingdom. The role provides HSE leadership, assurance and practical support for survey and related project activities, including contractor review, CDM assurance, readiness reviews, inspections, procedure development and risk assessment. Responsibilities include supporting planning, mobilisation and execution; participating in contractor and pre-start meetings; undertaking site inspections and field engagements; contributing to constructability reviews; providing audit and assurance support; supporting contractor evaluations and assessments; reviewing HSE documentation; supporting the development and implementation of HSE procedures and guidance; preparing or supporting risk assessments; tracking and closing HSE issues and actions; supporting incident reporting and investigation follow-up; maintaining records; providing HSE advice and constructive challenge; and escalating significant HSE or CDM risks or non-conformances. Requirements include at least 5 years of relevant HSE experience in construction, infrastructure, utilities, energy, marine, survey, offshore wind or similar project environments, plus experience with field activities, contractor HSE reviews, readiness reviews, HSE procedure improvement, incident follow-up, and working with multi-disciplinary teams and contractors.
