RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is seeking a full-time, permanent SOV Senior Wind Turbine Technician for Sofia, an offshore wind farm project. The role involves safe, efficient execution of offshore maintenance activities, frontline technical leadership, supervision of planned and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, retrofit support, and coordination with offshore and onshore teams. The position includes a 24/7 shift rota and extended offshore rotations, typically two weeks at a time. Requirements include experience in offshore wind or comparable technical maintenance, a technical qualification such as NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds, strong health, safety and quality awareness, technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and control systems, and the ability to meet offshore medical, safety training and working-at-height requirements. Previous supervisory experience, Siemens Gamesa turbine experience, and knowledge of PLC, SCADA, HV and LV systems are advantageous.
