Full-time fixed-term Year in Industry placement in Operations Engineering at Robin Rigg Offshore Windfarm with RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. The role is fully site based in Workington and involves practical insight into offshore wind farm operations, hands-on work with wind turbines, support for engineering policies and procedures, project ownership, strategic engineering and commercial support, and planning and delivery of maintenance work. Applicants should be studying Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, IT, Computing and Networking, or a related discipline, and be eligible for a year-in-industry placement. Strong communication, independence, teamwork, and deadline management skills are required. The role may require National Security Vetting to SC level and five years' UK residence. Training includes GWO certification, Wind Turbine Safety Rules, and in-house technical training.
