Responsibilities include maintaining equipment and facility ratings documents and databases, supporting protective relay maintenance and settings, reviewing engineering studies related to protection and control systems, coordinating testing and performance validation, facilitating NERC and regional compliance programs, supporting sustaining engineering and outage planning, establishing maintenance best practices, reviewing test reports, participating in troubleshooting and root cause analysis, and supporting procurement and contractor supervision. Qualifications include a post-secondary degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, or a related discipline, a valid G class driver’s license, advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, and experience in power generation with knowledge of electrical standards and reliability engineering best practices.
