A prestigious international technical and strategic consulting firm specializing in renewable energy is seeking a Senior Consultant for the Italian team based in Milan. The role focuses primarily on solar PV and involves supporting developers, operators, investors, and financial institutions in Italy, with exposure to other European markets. Responsibilities include technical and commercial advisory on solar PV, BESS, and hybrid projects; supporting business development; managing technical and commercial due diligence; analyzing technical and commercial risks; assessing grid connection, permitting, land, environmental constraints, EPC/O&M contracts, and project schedules; evaluating HV/MV substations and infrastructure readiness; providing Owner’s Engineer services; and working across multiple projects in an international environment. Requirements include a degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field; native Italian and fluent English; around 6+ years of renewable energy experience with technical advisory, due diligence, or owner’s engineering exposure; experience with utility-scale Solar PV and/or BESS; strong knowledge of the Italian market; active client portfolio and commercial development capability; and strong communication and consulting skills.
