About the role

Master Trainee – Dredging Vessel (TSHD) in Europe and Southeast Asia. This role is for high-potential Indonesian deck officers with strong offshore or high-intensity vessel backgrounds and no prior dredging experience. It offers structured command-level training, European operational exposure, and a pathway toward Master positions on dredging vessels. Requirements include a valid COC Class I, valid STCW certificates, medical fitness, and a current Seafarer’s Book. Candidates should have experience on offshore or high-intensity vessels such as DP vessels, AHT/AHTS, construction, cable laying, or similar units, and be familiar with continuous 24/7 offshore operations. Indonesian nationality, clear operational English, leadership potential, sound judgement, and a safety-driven, disciplined, resilient mindset are required. Experience with multinational or European-led crews is an advantage. Harbour tug, coastal, short-voyage, or non-continuous operation backgrounds are not suitable. Responsibilities include assisting with safe navigation, manoeuvring, and bridge watchkeeping; learning command decision-making in offshore and dredging operations; supporting QHSE, ISM, and PTW systems; assisting in crew supervision and onboard coordination; participating in emergency drills, audits, and safety exercises; supporting daily reporting, logbooks, and operational documentation; and joining structured onboard training and dredging familiarization.
