About the role

Master Trainee – Dredging Vessel (TSHD) based in Europe and Southeast Asia. This role is intended for high-potential Indonesian deck officers with strong offshore or high-intensity vessel backgrounds. It offers structured command-level training, European operational exposure, and a pathway toward Master positions on dredging vessels. Requirements include a valid COC Class I, valid STCW certificates, medical fitness, and a current Seafarer’s Book. Prior dredging experience is not required. Candidates should have experience on offshore or high-intensity vessels such as DP vessels, AHT/AHTS, construction, cable laying, or similar units; be familiar with continuous 24/7 offshore operations; hold Indonesian nationality; communicate clearly in operational English; and demonstrate leadership potential, sound judgement, discipline, and resilience. Responsibilities include assisting with safe navigation, manoeuvring, bridge watchkeeping, supporting QHSE, ISM, and PTW systems, assisting in crew supervision and onboard coordination, participating in emergency drills, audits, and safety exercises, supporting reporting and documentation, and taking part in onboard training and dredging familiarization.
