Plant Manager - Wind Location: Encino, NM - El Cabo Wind. The Wind Plant Manager manages day-to-day operations and maintenance of a utility-scale wind power plant, including operating budget development and compliance, outage coordination, scheduling, and oversight of operations and maintenance. Responsibilities include environmental, health and safety compliance, safety training and assessments, third-party contract administration, warranty administration, capital improvement programs and retrofits, crew management, staffing, coaching, training, corrective actions, budget preparation, profit and loss reporting, root cause analysis review, performance evaluations, and internal controls. Required qualifications include a four-year degree or technical school certificate, or equivalent related experience or training; experience in power plant operations and maintenance; ability to climb 80-meter steel towers daily; advanced computer skills; ability to work around low and medium voltage and in adverse weather; problem-solving ability; knowledge of heavy equipment, crane and rigging requirements; and a valid driver's license. Preferred qualifications include wind plant and wind turbine experience, high voltage maintenance and switching, preventative maintenance program improvement, and CMMS experience.
