About the role
RWE Offshore Wind GmbH is seeking a Lead Responsible Electrical Person (Lead REP / Lead VEFK) to hold overall electrical responsibility for offshore operations across Continental Europe. The role covers nine offshore wind farms, eight offshore substations, and seven wind turbine platforms, with responsibility for high- and medium-voltage systems, maintenance strategy, electrical standards, governance, audits, and continuous improvement. The position works closely with Site REPs, HSE, Engineering, Procurement, TSOs, and external partners, and involves mentoring, reporting, and representation in internal and external committees. Requirements include a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification, several years of relevant senior electrical leadership experience, strong knowledge of electrical regulations and standards, and preferably experience in offshore wind farm operations and substations. German and English fluency is required, along with willingness to travel across Continental Europe and medical fitness for occasional offshore assignments.
