RWE Americas, LLC is hiring a full-time, permanent Tiger Team Technician II for Operations & Maintenance. The role supports regional wind farm operations and includes generator bearing exchange, up-tower gearbox repairs, pitch ram exchange, yaw drive exchange, troubleshooting, training, safety exercises, turbine maintenance, software updates, and technical guidance to the O&M team. Responsibilities include working safely at wind farm sites, climbing wind towers, handling tools and equipment, monitoring contractors, conducting acceptance and performance tests, and traveling up to 50% of the time. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid unrestricted driver license, and experience with wind, solar, and BESS; a GWO certificate is preferred. The role is field-based in the United States, with locations listed in Illinois and Indiana. The hourly base salary range in Illinois is $32.52 to $44.00.
