About the role
UTM Consultants are seeking an Offshore Export Joint & Termination Inspector for a 6-month project in Poland. Responsibilities include inspecting cable systems at offshore locations, witnessing VLF, sheath and OTDR testing, carrying out QA/QC inspections of termination work, managing project documentation, permit-to-work requests, cable testing coordination, handover certification, and reporting progress. The role also involves reviewing testing documentation, managing contractor interfaces, and supporting HSE compliance. Required training includes Seafarers Offshore Medical, First Aid, firefighting, sea survival and transfer, climbing and rescue-at-heights, and confined space training. Desirable experience includes HV/MV jointing, VLF and OTDR testing, safe work in high and low voltage substations, and experience with HV/MV cable jointing and termination.
