About the role
A leading international renewable energy company is seeking a Senior Grid Connection Manager to join its team in Germany. The business develops and operates large-scale wind and solar energy projects and is expanding its portfolio of PV + BESS and stand-alone BESS projects. The role will support the grid connection process across utility-scale projects, with responsibility for technical and electrical engineering aspects, liaison with TSOs and DSOs, and progress through key development milestones. Key responsibilities include leading the technical grid connection strategy, managing electrical engineering aspects of grid integration, serving as the interface with TSOs, DSOs, and external technical stakeholders, supporting project development teams, and identifying and mitigating technical risks. Ideal candidates will have experience in grid connection, electrical engineering, or technical project management, with a background in renewable energy and knowledge of the German energy market. Minimum C1 German fluency is required.
