JOB TITLE: Project Engineer LOCATION: Aberdeen JOB TYPE: Temporary Contract – 3 Months START DATE: ASAP About the Role TEXO Recruitment is looking for a Project Engineer to support the planning and delivery of offshore cementing equipment installations. Based primarily in Aberdeen, this is a 3-month temporary contract involving project coordination, technical documentation and equipment installation support, with occasional international and offshore travel as required. Key Responsibilities Assist with rig surveys using manual measurements and 3D laser scanning (training provided). Prepare technical reports, project schedules, installation procedures and certification documentation. Produce and review equipment layout drawings and P&IDs. Support the planning, removal, installation and commissioning of cementing equipment. Coordinate with clients, rig owners, installation teams and suppliers. Monitor project progress, costs and resource requirements. Assist with Bills of Materials, technical specifications and basic engineering calculations. Support equipment procurement, inspection, preparation and mobilisation. Review commissioning and testing results and document lessons learned. Qualifications & Experience Essential Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Good organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to obtain BOSIET/HUET and OGUK medical certification, with training provided. Desirable Working knowledge of AutoCAD Mechanical. Experience with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD or similar 3D modelling software. Familiarity with point cloud data and 3D laser scanning. Experience using Microsoft Project. Previous experience in equipment installation, commissioning or offshore projects. What's on Offer 3-month temporary contract. Aberdeen-based role.
