The role is responsible for safely installing, operating, maintaining, and repairing solar PV systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing modules, inverters, combiner boxes, LBDs, trackers, and electrical infrastructure; analyzing SCADA data and performance trends; supporting preventive and corrective maintenance; leading inspections, testing, and commissioning; maintaining technical documentation; mentoring junior technicians; and serving in an on-call capacity as assigned. The position is based outdoors at a solar farm in California and requires working in varying weather conditions, around electrical and mechanical equipment, and with strict safety procedures.
