Senior Solar Farm Technician role with RWE Americas in Tonopah, Arizona. This full-time, permanent Operations & Maintenance position focuses on on-site safety, renewable energy generation, operation, monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, event response, and coordination of contractors across solar assets in a regional portfolio. Responsibilities include plant operations, preventive and corrective maintenance, technical support, operational reporting, contractor management, and ensuring compliance with industry best practices, safety practices, procedures, laws, and regulations. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, preferred associate degree in engineering or related field, preferred NABCEP Certification or Electrical License, unrestricted driver license, at least 6 years of renewable energy field experience, 6 years in power plant operations, and 6 years in troubleshooting and maintenance or supervision of medium/high voltage, collection, transmission, and substation systems. Additional requirements include competence in power plant and electrical safety, NEC knowledge, use of tools and office equipment, willingness to travel, flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays, completion of required training, first aid/CPR/AED, OSHA certification, shift work, adaptability to new technologies, strong communication, and ability to work in extreme conditions.
