RWE Americas is seeking a Development Director, Utility-Scale Development - Central Region. This full-time, permanent role is a senior individual contributor responsible for initiating, developing, and acquiring utility-scale solar, wind, and energy storage projects in the United States and Canada. The director leads complex projects and cross-functional teams from greenfielding through start of construction and supports projects through commercial operation. Responsibilities include project lifecycle management, due diligence, permitting, interconnection, engineering and preconstruction, budgeting and forecasting, cost estimating and EPC bidding, negotiating with key stakeholders, supporting transactions and investment approvals, and helping shape regional development strategy. The position requires extensive utility-scale development experience and strong project management, financial, commercial, analytical, and communication skills.
